Getting There
Casa Tilo is easy to get to, but we are in a rural location, so a little advance planning helps.
By car
You will find Casa Tilo here on Google Maps. Our driveway is the first left after you pass under the little bridge.
The drive from Barcelona Airport takes about 1 hour. An airport taxi costs around €100; Bolt or Uber usually cheaper. You can also compare rental cars on booking.com.
If you want to leave Casa Tilo by taxi, it is best to arrange in advance.
By public transport from Barcelona Airport
Take the Aerobús to Plaça Catalunya, then the R1 train to Arenys de Mar, in the direction of Maçanet-Massanes or Blanes. - Google Maps can be misleading around Plaça Catalunya. Use the satellite image below to see how to reach the train station from the Aerobús stop.
Buy your train ticket from a machine at the station. Trains are frequent and do not need to be booked in advance.
Be aware of pickpockets at Plaça Catalunya.

Transport is easiest if you book an arriving flight that lands before 7pm and a departing flight after 11am.
Pickup from Arenys de Mar
We can usually pick you up from Arenys de Mar station, but this must be arranged in advance. Please do not plan on a lift from us if your flight lands after 7pm or departs before 11am.
By local bus
The 651 bus runs from Arenys de Mar train station to stop 4745, Ctra. de Torrentbó - Rambla de l’Eixample. Pay the driver in cash.
From the bus stop, it is a pleasant 25-minute walk in the shade to Casa Tilo.
Arriving by international train
From Barcelona Sants, take the R1 train to Arenys de Mar.
